New York's Empress Of shares a remix of her song 'Icon' courtesy of Brooklyn producer The Range. NYC band Big Thief dropped their 'Masterpiece' EP via Saddle Creek Records a few months back. Packing in lush and moody sounds of Americana into four songs, the group have shared one of the highlight tracks taken from the record. 'Paul', a breezy slice of alt-rock, is that song that plays in a break-up scene where one of the members in the couple packs their bags, hops in the car and drives off into the sunset as the other party stands there with a pitiful stare. Whilst the song may feel quite melancholic to the one who has been left behind, it's a beautiful and liberating soundtrack for the other. Have a listen.
Meyhem Lauren slides out of New York City to head down to Jamaica where his latest video 'Badmon Ting' was shot. Now mind you, Mayhem Lauren does get gutter with it, so you can already imagine the dancers. The song is taken from his forthcoming LP 'Piatto D’Oro', landing on Fools Gold.
Even though it's early in the year far author, poet and actor Saul Williams has our vote for one of the best albums of 2016. Depicting a fictional tale of a minor from Burundi who turns to hacking, 'Martyr Loser King' is a sonic roller coaster ride of experimental electronica, African rhythms and Hip-Hop, churned with a punk twist.

Osagyefo Sekou, the men stroll in circular motions of ritual before entering a local nail salon. Towards the end of the video Buckley recites the poem 'The People Vs. The Police'. 'The Noise Came From Here' is directed by Anisia Uzeyman.
