Ouri Shares the mobilegirl Remix of ‘K-Yen Dreamin’

Back in 2018, Montreal-based producer Ouri released her EP 'We Share Our Blood' via Ghostly International. The record was an experimental ride down the lane of abstract electronica. She now ups the ante with a remix of the EP, calling on producers ranging from FJAAK to Biome. Musically the contributing acts transform the original recordings into Jersey Club, techno and even baile funky reworks.

Ada Lea Shares a French Version of Her Single ‘the party’

Fresh from signing a deal with labels Saddle Creek Records and Next Door Records, Montreal singer and visual artist Ada Lea will release her new album 'what we say in private' on July 19th. Having shared her dreamy tune 'the party' a couple weeks back, Lea has now recorded a French version of the song. With the airy production the same as the original, the cut is just as gorgeous if not more with the newly added French twist.

Montreal producer Patrick Wade aka Dead Horse Beats is set to release his new album 'Inglaterra'. Giving fans a glimpse of what to expect, he has unveiled his latest single 'Home Days'. A fusion of jazzy, head-nodding Hip-Hop with a warm blanket of soul, it's hard not to get roped into the song upon the first couple seconds of the intro. With a thick, rubbery bass line acting as the heartbeat, sleek synths and boom-bap drum programming all float underneath Wade's smokey vocals. Paupière Return with Their Infectious Synthpop Tune ‘Howard Carter’

Montreal group Paupière have returned with their new single 'Howard Carter'. An ode the legendary London Egyptologist and archaeologist who discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun in 1922, the musical palette is that of sexy and infectious synth-pop and disco.
