The synth-pop driven song draws inspiration from an 80s sound, with the sisters melodically gliding over staggering drum kicks and otherworldly lays. With the lyrics calling on a lover to remain steadfast and not so quick to pull away despite the ups and downs, the tune follows Aly & AJ's previous song 'Church'.
Los Angeles band French Vanilla have delivered some classic punk funk with their latest track 'All The Time'. With a slick, rubbery bass line lashing through the cut, upbeat drumming, blazing horns and pouty vocals all play a part in this spirited and highly addictive record. The song is taken from French Vanilla's 'How Am I Not Myself?', which is out June 7th.
Whilst France-born, L.A.-based artist Death Hags may not have a large discography, she did drop some really ear-pleasing cuts harking back to last year. One in particular is the breezy desert indie track 'Le Temps De L’amour'. Her latest tune is the more beats-driven cut entitled 'Oublie Moi'. A lo-fi, trip-hop / indie meeting, Death Hags delivers more french lyrics with utterly seductive vocals, whilst the production itself is reminiscent of acts like Tricky.

Post-punk, electronic duo Collapsing Scenery return with a new track entitled 'Bush Mama Blues'. The song is taken from their forthcoming LP 'Stress Positions', landing this June. Frenzied in sound, the transitions from a chaotic slice of electronica to a beautiful piano-led composition. While there has been a lot of songs around the topic of depression, Los Angeles artist Paige Starks has comfortably provided a true soundtrack to the feeling. A plea for a lover to stay in their relationship regardless of her shortcomings, the track is quite heartfelt. With hazy production as the backdrop of the indie pop piece, there is something intoxicating about the tune. Check it out.
K.Flay steps away from those projecting negative energy in her latest single 'Bad Vibes'. Produced by Tommy English, the head-nodding tune is fuzzy synth, upbeat pop/rock/Hip-Hop handing that finds K.Flay firing shots at someone, letting he or she know that "you can't drag me down". It's all about the maintaining good energy with this one.

Whilst we are a long way from Halloween, Los Angeles band Death Valley Girls tap into scenes of horror with their latest video 'Street Justice'. Directed by RailRoad Bill, what you have here are references of Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers and more. Like watching your top horror films on a VHS tape (which these visuals are meant to replicate), this is actually much better considering that Death Valley Girls have provided killer desert rock and punk to coincide.
