ColoRising Mixes 36: SDH

Julien Bracht of Lea Porcelain Remixes Their Track ‘Loose Life’

With their new remix EP landing this month, Lea Porcelain share another rework, this time by the group's own Julien Bracht. Reconstructing their song 'Loose Life', Bracht puts together a raw and gritty version that sways between industrial and hard-stomping techno. Almost subterranean in sound, this version will be included on the 'LEA PORCELAIN REMIXED' release which features production by Scuba, Thom alt-J and more.

Cardopusher to Release New Album ‘New Cult Fear’

Venezuelan producer has announced the release of his new album 'New Cult Fear', forthcoming July 14th via Boys Noize. A roller coaster ride of acid house, experimental electro, industrial and everything in between. The 12-song record finds the now Barcelona-based artist bridging the sounds of now with the no-holds barred spirit of the late 70s post-punk period, continuing on to breakbeat and rave. The LP follows Cardopusher's 'Manipulator', released back in 2015. Below is a stream of his cut 'Mind Eraser', which is also taken from the upcoming LP.

PVT ‘Morning Mist, Rock Island Bend’ Video

With their upcoming album 'New Spirit' set to drop on February 17th, Sydney group PVT unveil a new video for their song titled 'Morning Mist, Rock Island Bend'. Directed by Mclean Stephenson, the 9 minute vid features a guy who heads off into the forest to be one with nature, escaping his normal life. In the process, he literally adapts to his surrounding by dressing like a bush and doing things to now completely fit into this new habitat.

Stream Greek Band Mechanimal’s New LP ‘Delta Pi Delta’

Known for their punchy sound of industrial, post-punk and dark-electro sound, Athens band Mechanimal now unveil their third LP 'Delta Pi Delta', which is out via Inner Ear Records. Adding vocalist Eleni Tzavara to the group, the new recording reflects the inspiration drawn from the band's journey into the outskirts of Athens, absorbing the aesthetics of Greece's magical landscape. Temple Invisible Interview

Over the past couple of years Bucharest, Romania has been a hot bed of cutting edge electronic acts. Temple Invisible are a part of the new wave of maverick artists who are blurring the lines of genre, mixing a stew of musical influences to create a particular sound of dark electronica. Consisting of Irina Bucescu, Costas Ivanov and Daniel Olteanu, their track "Disappearance" was an introduction of the trio to the world with the song hauntingly springing elements of trip-hop, industrial and goth. Their recently unveiled tracks "Collide" and "Sudden Acts" incorporated post-punk, as well as synth-wave, adding guitars amidst the dreamy vocals of Irina Bucescu to spawn a nocturnal, yet sensual feel.
