Having spent years in the Berlin music scene, Mexico-born, now Barcelona-based singer and songwriter Graciela María has released a collaborative record with long time friend and producer Sneaky titled 'Dear Elliott'. The album follows her EP 'We Will Find Ourselves Again', which dropped earlier this year.
Having spent many years in Berlin and now based in Spain after a stint in her native Mexico, singer Graciela María returns with her new EP 'We Will Find Ourselves Again'.
Singer and artist Graciela María has been wowing listeners for a number of years with her gorgeous mixture of mood-driven modern music and the lush, traditional styles from her native country of Mexico. Having spent the past decade crafing her sound in Berlin, she has taken her music and extraordinary performances globally.
Berlin-based Graciela María is one of the most multi-faceted artists in the industry. Having weaved between various styles of music ranging from experimental electronica, moody and cinematic lo-fi, jazz-tinged downtempo on over to more Hip-Hop underlying beat cuts with Robot Koch, unlike many acts who tend to make an attempt at style shifting, she actually does it well...great in fact. Set to release a new album titled 'Canto Siete' on January 25th, Graciela María revisits the classic sounds of her native Mexico. The first offering from the LP comes in the form of this gorgeous version of 'Adoro', written by Armando Manzanero and originally released in 1967. Bursting with beauty, the spacious rendition is minimalist art with Graciela María's exquisite vocals accompanied simply by tender guitar cello. Ripe with mesmeric qualities, 'Adoro' displays Graciela María at her best.
Berlin-based singer Graciela María will release her 3rd solo album 'Love Letters To Strangers' on March 31st. With the artist a perfect representation of all things organically beautiful, María's latest video is an absolutely gorgeous and passionate display of touch between bodies and Berlin's landscape. Combine the lush musical backings with sultry visuals and you'll find it extremely hard not to fall head over heels for Graciela María. The video is directed by Miren Oller.
