If you have followed Miami-based band Plastic Pinks over the few years, then you'll know this 5-piece group definitely know how to rock out with the best of them. Having recorded everything from punk to psych-rock, releasing their debut LP 'Sunnyside Rabbits' back in 2015.
L.A. rockers Exsage have dropped the video for their song 'Tripwire'. Directed by Jason Lester, the visuals depict strange interactions with dodgy men with briefcases and a guy with his face wrapped in bandages like something out of a Halloween flick. Definitely a little on the eerie side, the song is a rock and roll gem.
When Lewis Del Mar first dropped their track 'Loud(y)', it was evident that the New York pair had unearthed something quite special, almost deconstructing a garage rock sound into something distinctly their own. It was also no surprise that the two drew attention to radio shot callers such as Annie Mac and Huw Stephens. But like many bands who understand one particular concept...you're only as good as your last single and a great full-length is the true writing on the wall on what an act can do. But like the city that they live in, there is an "F you" attitude toward the rule books, which is actually why their self-titled LP goes far beyond the mark of exceptional-they have musically done what they've wanted to do.

Once again the country of Sweden proves that they have more to offer than simply shiny pop acts. Malmö band Hater have stepped foot in the scene with their excellent debut single 'Radius'. Taken from their forthcoming EP of the same title, the song is a raw and organic blend of indie and garage rock that cuts out any fluff and filler, delivering only the best bits rocking guitars, upbeat drumming and smokey vocals.
Known for a clean, acoustic folk sound and his dapper style of dress, L.A. Salami released his 2013 EP 'Another Shade of Blue', followed by his opening of the Burberry Spring/Summer '14 runway show. By the end of 2014 Salami went on to release a second EP entitled 'The Prelude'. Since that time however, he has been a little quiet but it's now evident that there was something cooking in the creative oven. Bringing forth his new single 'The City Nowadays', the London musician has beefed up his sound with an edgier post blues/garage rock feel added to the mix. Sonically it's properly fitting for the content which covers the state of everything from life to the fast food style of music. 'The City Nowadays' lands June 24th via Sunday Best Recordings. Have a listen.
