Singer, musician and composer Sofia Härdig is considered to be one of the leading acts coming out of Sweden with a sound organic and raw, explosively bursting out of the seams with energy. No stranger to the music industry, Härdig has worked with the likes of Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon and Julia Crafitz of Pussy Galore, not to mention Grammy Award winning group The Hellacopters and more. In a sense the Swedish artist reflects the very idea of what a true rock star looks, feels and sounds like. Whilst her native country has maintained a tradition of pumping out pop acts, Härdig's music is experimental, racing, unafraid and unapologetic. Her visuals are performance art, something that was a staple in New York's East Village punk and new wave scene or West Berlin in the 70s and 80s.

Dutch duo The Motto may be a name new to listeners, however, the Amsterdam-based group have cut their teeth in the industry working with the likes of Ghostface Killah, Busta Rhymes and more. Consisting of Jalise Romy and Joveek Murphy, the two have stepped into the limelight to bring forth their debut song entitled 'Gunfighter'. With a mantra of experimenting with music to create their own unique sound, the pop/electronic soul hybrid is a pretty monumental introduction to the pair who are ready to blast off in 2016. One LP that we have been eagerly waiting on is 'MartyrLoserKing' by artist, poet and author Saul Williams. New York-based Williams recently shared a new song taken from the album entitled 'The Noise Came From Here'. Sampling the singing of an African tribe, heavy synths and thundering drums push from beneath creating a sense of urgency. Like the work of Williams' past, 'The Noise Came From Here' challenges any normality pertaining to the current music, keeping a strategic focus on something with a little more impact.
