Ed Sheeran revisits the sound of grime with the Sir Spyro remix of his track 'Take Me Back To London' featuring Stormzy, Jaykae and Aitch. Dropping a big video to accompany the rework, the visuals include Ed and the gang flexing, big boy style. Ed is clearly having a great time, and it's good to see him taking it back to the sound of grime.
At this point there have been remixes of the Rudimental and Ed Sheeran track 'Lay It All On Me' from Eats Everything on down to Tarrus Riley. Now the London band brings forth a new version featuring a few unexpected guests. Chicago rapper Vic Mensa and Detroit's Big Sean have jumped on the tune adding their own particular spice. Although beat isn't necessarily catered to the dance floor, it's still a nice, cool-out jam to lay back and nod to. The original version of the song is taken from Rudimental's 'We The Generation', which is out now on Black Butter Records. Have a listen.
