Fontaines D.C. ‘A Hero’s Death’ Video

Fontaines D.C. are scheduled to release their new album 'A Hero's Death' on July 31st via Partisan Records. With that already being exciting news in itself, they have also shared the official video to the title track. Directed by Hugh Mulhern, the story line revolves around a talk show host who is seemingly full of himself, whilst staff are less than excited. As he comes back to the dressing room to prep Fontaines D.C. for their performance on the show, the group with miserable expressions on their faces ultimately have the last laugh as the host gets taunted with puppets. This is another brilliant record from the Dublin band.

With their new EP 'Live From BBC Maida Vale' out now, Dublin band The Murder Capital have dropped their version of the FKA twigs tune 'Cellophane'. Whilst the song begins as an airy re-working of minimalism, it eventually transitions into a heavy post-punk crusher. Intense at peak points, the boys bring the sound back down to that previous space of peaceful moments, which is down quite masterfully.

The Murder Capital’s ‘More Is Less’ is Post-Punk Goodness

Earlier this year, Dublin band The Murder Capital made a splash with their driving post-punk track 'Feeling Fades'. Going on to drop more stellar tunes including 'Green & Blue' and 'Don't Cling To Life', their latest single 'More Is Less' is a rapid-fire post-punk bit that strikes with sinister guitar riffs, a thunderous bass line and fist-raising vocals that steamrolls with intensity.

Coming off of the back of two strong singles, 'Tombstone' and 'All That Remains Won’t Be The Same', Irish band Otherkin have now unveiled their third track titled 'On & On'. With this one definitely tailored for the dance floor, the group fuse electric alt-rock with a pumping club groove. Produced by Jolyon Thomas, there is a 90s styling to the track that creates a lovely air of nostalgia. The song coincides with Otherkin's latest announcement of a UK tour beginning in September.

Otherkin ‘Tombstone’ Video

Dublin band Otherkin return in 2019 in a big way with their latest single 'Tombstone', the first release since the group's 2017 debut LP 'OK', and it's blazing hot. Fostering a sound that is electric rock pumping with energy, Otherkin have also unveiled the official video to coincide with the track. Directed by Wolf James, the visuals find frontman Luke Reilly frantically trying to escape three masked men seemingly waiting to seal his fate. Eventually that fate catches up to him, forcing Reilly to now join them. If this is a taste of what's to come from Otherkin, then we are intensely excited to hear their new album. Have a look.
