Punk will never die...the authentic punk that is, especially when bands like London's Dream Nails exist. The group's music is like an awakening alarm of urgency speaking out against the ills of society with a sonic rage as the palette. Appropriately titling their debut EP 'DIY', that spirit runs deep in the four members as they even released a zine to coincide with the record. Their sound is loud, fast and hits with a punch like an uppercut to the face. Singing messages of empowerment, the self-proclaimed 'feminist punk witches from hell' are as core as they come, raw and uncut, and you can best believe they are utterly proud of it.

Unafraid to present a contrast of husky 4x4 rhythms at times whilst a gentleness of soft synth-based grooves play out at other moments, Flavia Lazzarini proves that sometimes a stirring of styles can make for an attention-holding LP that doesn't run a rough road course off the deep end.
French producer and DJ Sébastien Fauvel's tenure in the Parisian electronic scene stems back to the 90s, playing parties throughout Europe and producing music that has been featured on television and films. Having relocated to Nantes, Fauvel has cooked up a fresh, hedi serving of spaced-out house. Drawing inspiration from funk, disco and 80s club, his latest delivery comes in the shape of the new 'Obsession' EP, set to get released March 17th. Along with the naughty original version, the single will feature remixes by Faze Action, Pete Herbert and Stratus. 'Obsession' will be the first release coming from Follentez Records, the imprint established by Jérôme Querré. We have a preview of the forthcoming EP below.
For years we have dubbed Italian musician Rodion as one of the kings of the nu-disco scene. The classically trained pianist who released his 'Romantic Jet Dance' album back in 2007 on Gomma, has also dropped a slew of singles including a few records with fellow Italian disco conneseur Bottin.
On April 1st, Rodion will release his new LP 'Generator' on Nein Records. Consisting of ten tracks in total, the album features Rome-born Rodion exploring further aspects of space-out disco, iced with pure hedonism. Dark, skittering effects are intertwined with freaky synth playing, often times seeming suitable for treks to outter space or all-night party sessions at the Playboy mansion. What remains at a high throughout the LP are the compositions and arrangement themselves.
