Chicago-based singer and musician BONZIE has release her second LP 'Zone on Nine', which is a follow-up release to her singles 'As The Surface Rose' and 'How Do You Find Yourself, Love?, with her debut album 'Rift Into The Secret Of Things, Album' having landed back in 2013. Produced by BONZIE, along with Jonathan Wilson and Ali Chant, the record is a delicate and earnest approach to alternative, with intricate songwriting and BONZIE's airy vocals depicting a definite growth in her artistry.

Marlon Hoffstadt & Paris Brightledge’s ‘Shattered’ EP

Retrograde boss Marlon Hoffstadt has released a stream of incredible house records, and now teaming up with Chicago vocalist Paris Brightledge, the pair are set to drop their monster of an EP titled 'Shattered'. The title track combines breakbeat drums with a deep, bubbling bass line and milky synths, creating an old school rave meets acid feel as Brightledge's soulful vocals add the perfect topping. Hoffstadt goes ethereal with the tune 'Elevate', a mellow and dreamy soundscape with Paris Brightledge delivering that golden Chi-town touch.

Chance The Rapper ‘Angels’ Video

Chance The Rapper flies around Chicago (literally) like Neo from 'The Matrix' in his video 'Angels'. Directed by Austin Vesely, the Chi-Town emcee eventually lands on top of an L train as a group of people in one the cars bust their finest dance moves. Towards the ending of the video, Chance also hits the street to show off a few moves of his own. Have a look.

Stream Eryn Allen Kane’s ‘How Many Times’

Chicago singer Eryn Allen Kane has shared her new track 'How Many Times'. Lead by a haunting piano riff, Kane powerfully performs the tune with gospel-styled backings and rumbling drums that simply give you the chills. 'How Many Times' will act as a lead-up to her forthcoming EP 'Aviary: Act II', which is scheduled to land on February 2nd. The tune is available as a free download which you can get here.
