Accused of still creating work that resembled his past Saint Laurent pieces, for the men's summer 2020 collection, Slimane draws inspiration from the 70s with classic tailored suits and tuxedos. For the campaign video, Hedi heads to the French Riviera, shooting black and white stills of the models and mixing the pics with landscapes, statues and more. Punks, flower children, surfers and bodybuilders have all found a meeting point in Gucci's Pre-Fall 2019 campaign. Filmed at an Ancient Greek location in Sicily that was once a gathering site for various people to talk the topics of the day, this campaign video gives a modern take on the area, now highlighting various counter cultures that would normally be more fitting for Los Angeles or London. The video features Australian rocker Amyl of Amyl and the Sniffers, as well as New York punk band Surfbort. The campaign was shot by fashion photographer Glen Luchford.
