Drawing influence from 80s pop, the content of the single, whilst on the surface could be interpreted as a wooing love track, was actually spawned from the the darker times of singer Ruby Waltham's teenage years. Musically the tune is stacked with lush keys, glistening guitar riffs and up-bopping bass line.

Refusing to slow down the momentum, they now bring forth their latest track titled 'Broadcaster'. Once again proving that musically they are one of the most diverse bands out today, Squid delve into the realms of psychedelic and synthwave, as a sequenced synth line lay atop spacey layers. There is also an element of drone incorporated into the production which flows without drums. Another killer offering, the track is taken from their 'Sludge/Broadcaster' pack, which will also land on vinyl via Warp Records on June 26th.
Brighton's Elli Ingram kicked off 2020 with her stomping single 'Bad Behaviour'. She now returns with her latest track 'Flowers'. No less packed with attitude and a whole heap of fierceness, the song is a brilliant combination of soul and beat-knocking Hip-Hop sprinkled with a gracious dose of jazz in top. Ingram's powerhouse voice is packed with poise and confidence, making 'Flowers' incredibly dynamic and exciting.
Brighton-based trio CIEL have released their debut EP 'Movement', which comes at the heels of their recently dropped single 'Same Old Times With U'. Consisting of three tracks, the record is a combination of breezy dream pop and lush indie with subtle hints of creeping post-punk.
