Friedberg Make Their Debut with ‘Boom’

Anna F. is no stranger to music, having released 2010's acclaimed 'For Real' LP and 'King in the Mirror' in 2014. She also had a role in the film 'Der Mann aus dem Eis (Iceman)'. With all of her success, Anna F., born Anna Wappel, now unveils her new band Friedberg. The first handing from the group comes in the form of the cut 'Boom'. Sultry with an undeniable edge, the production swerves between alternative, indie and trip-hop with Anna F. delivering smokey vocals on top. Reminiscent of Tricky or Massive Attack, 'Boom' is definitely a dark delight.

Stream Soap&Skin’s Cinematic Single ‘Surrounded’

Austria's Anja Plaschg returns under her Soap&Skin project with the song 'Surrounded'. The song is taken from Plaschg's upcoming LP 'From Gas to Solid / you are my friend'. A theatrical offering which features the singer delivering a gripping vocal performance, the cinematic production is mountainous in size with Anja Plaschg continuing to create music that has a timeless appeal opposed to a shelf life expiration of a month or so. This is a brilliant delivery from the masterful creative.

Mavi Phoenix ‘Ibiza’ Video

Austrian singer and rapper Mavi Phoenix has shared the visual treatment to her single 'Ibiza'. Directed by Cristina Salgar, the initial split-screen video features Mavi on the right side sitting in a car, whilst the left screen highlights a woman's trek among the Spanish island. Eventually the two girls come together for a more intimate moment. The beauty of a holiday on Ibiza!

Stream Soap&Skin’s Ethereal Track ‘Heal’

Austria's Anja Plaschg aka Soap&Skin has announced news on the release of her third album 'From Gas to Solid / you are my friend'. Scheduled to land October 26th via Play It Again Sam, the self-produced record follows her critically acclaimed 2012 LP 'Narrow'. Soap&Skin has also shared a new song entitled 'Heal'. An ethereal and melodic working of electronic pop, the ambient production beautifully hosts Plaschg's rich vocals, resulting in one plush soundscape. Have a listen.

Vienna's Attic Giant have released their new EP 'light=whatwesee' via finetunes. Comprised of two tracks, the record is an organically rich and warming hybrid of experimental pop, ambient and indie.
