Back in September Norway’s Susanna released her EP Elevation Extended, a collaboration record with Stina Stjern and Delphine Dora. The project was also the precursor to her forthcoming concert with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra, scheduled in January of 2023.

Susanna has now delivered a remix of the track ‘Alchimie de la Douleur’, which is featured on Elevation Extended, courtesy of Bendik Baksaas. The rework is an otherworldly ambient meets techno makeover that is slightly dark and haunting but undoubtedly grooving. Below is a stream of Bendik Baksaas’ version of ‘Alchimie de la Douleur’.

Regarding the remix, Susanna mentioned:

“Baudelaire was indeed a decadent man and from what I have read, a sucker for a party. I think he would have been a character on the dance floor to this song.”
