When Canadian singer, musician and visual artist Shannon Hemmett isn’t rocking out with the post-punk band ACTORS, she’s crafting succulent synth-pop tracks under her project LEATHERS. Returning with the latter, Hemmett has released a new single titled ‘Highrise’. The song follows her previous track ‘Ultraviolet’, which was released back in September of last year.

‘Highrise’ is a dark and steamy synth-pop meets darkwave tune that drips with seduction. With the sultry lyrical content that plays with fantasy, vanity and sexuality, the 4×4 drum kicks coupled with rolling bass tones, post-punk guitar riffs, and stabbing synth lines make for the perfect late night soundtrack.
