Jazzanova’s Alex Barck relocated to Réunion island for a stint throughout this past summer, where he recorded his amazing LP simply titled “Reunion”. Barck’s brilliant song “Oh Africa” featuring the vocals of Christine Salem, which is taken from the album, has been put into the hands of none other than the master of the Yoruba house sound, Osunlade. Using the power of the percussion with a thumping bassline and deep, spaced synths elegantly incorporated, the track oozes with roots and soul.
