London’s Exit Kid, the duo comprised of Years & Years member Emre Turkmen and drummer Dylan Bell, have released their new EP Garden. Comprised of 5 songs in total, musically the band incorporate a multitude of sounds including punk, grunge, indie and dashes of pop. Having already shared the tracks ‘Hell In A Handcart’ and ‘Bleary Eyed’, the EP’s mood is partially a result of the past lockdown, the time in which the EP was written. The shining production combined with relatable themes make Garden a true force and well-balanced record across the board. Have a listen below.

Touching on the EP, Emre Turkmen said:

“Modern life is rubbish, we all know this. Isolation is part of the deal. This EP was mostly written during lockdown with haste, humour and anger in equal measure. The second of which we all need right now.”
