Hailing from Helsinki, Finland, Sami Suova and Mikko Pykäri makes up the group Shine 2009. The duo runs the record company Expo in which they released their 2011 album “Realism”. For 2013, Shine 2009 has now joined the already impressive roster at Modular Recordings. With an album in the works this sometime this year, the group has revealed their new single “Eurozone”, a breakbeat based song that embodies a heavy dose of orchestrated funk.
