Rising artist Nuela Charles follows up her previously released track ‘Awakening’ with a new single entitled ‘Worthy’.

Produced by Matt Parad, the cut is an ode to self-love and acceptance. Musically ‘Worthy’ is a soul packed extravaganza, equipped with horns, a killer and funky bass line, echoing claps, silky keys, and the whole nine. Charles’ vocal delivery and empowering lyrics are completely reeling, making this one joyous and motivating record.

Regarding the single,

“I wrote Worthy both as a journal entry and a pep talk to myself. I was going through all of these emotions, and just needed to get them out and process. Within a span of 45 minutes I had the song recorded down, just the piano and vocals. It was such a cathartic experience that I then shut my laptop and went on to do other things. The next day, I sent it to my producer Matt Parad. I think this is probably one of my most personal songs to date, but with such a universal message. It’s hard to be vulnerable sometimes, and show what others may perceive to be as “weakness” but it’s so needed, and I’m glad it turned out this way.”
