Hailing from Reykjavík, Kiasmos is the group consisting of Ólafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen, who have been rapidly gaining attention with their crop of experimental and minimal style of techno. Ólafur Arnalds, who is also a classical composer, previously worked with Rasmussen’s Bloodgroup as an engineer. Since those times, the two have found a common bond and friendship through a love for electronic music, hince the Kiasmos project. This is their song “Looped” which the group states, “was made late on a Friday night while enjoying a glass or two of a nice Scotch”.
