San Diego-based artist Jackie Mendoza have stepped up with her new single ‘De Lejos’. Truly crafting a unique sound that is original and refreshing, the track, whilst incorporating a Latin peppering, is constructed with a minimal and unorthodox electronic rhythm that carries the listener through the entire duration without losing a bit of pep and intrigue.

Touching on the track, Jackie Mendoza stated:

“We transformed the sound of the ukulele and stripped down the instrumentation so the message would be the centerpiece of the song. It’s a big step out of my comfort zone, but I’m really excited about its final form.”
