“‘Ladybird’ is a really exciting moment for us. It’s probably the clubbiest thing we’ve released and we love that we’re starting the new year with a burst of energy. ‘Ladybird’ was written with our good friend and super talented producer, Kiimi, who really helped define the direction of the track. During the session we all just felt this intensity and vibrancy from the stripped back drums and vocal chops and we knew that there was something in that minimal feel. We’ve been playing ‘Ladybird’ as part of our live set on tour last year and that was when the track came to life for us – the energy really seemed to connect with people. We are buzzing to hear it out in the world and hopefully at some clubs!”
