Stream House of EL’s ‘You Dont Know My Name’

Lonson’s Kieron McIntosh aka House of EL is keeping the sultry and cosmic sound of soul alive with his new track ‘You Don’t Know My Name’. Incorporating elements of 70s smoked out funk, the slow, steamy cut is peppered with bluesy keys, rubberband bass line play and slick guitar riffs all topped off with McIntosh’s insanely rich voice. There are even pimped-out, Parliament-style vocal additions that add another layer of flair. House of EL is a towering talent who is definitely ready to make his mark in the industry.

In a press statement regarding the single, House of EL wrote:

“You don’t know my name I did when I was really digging into that 70’s funk sound at the time. You know…. Sly and Bootsie… I wanted to talk about relationships (as a change), it’s that feeling when someone claims to love you but doesn’t really understand you. I’m always intrigued as to why people get obsessed with someone else. Ultimately I think relationships are funny things because how can you really know anyone – I guess you just have to take that chance. Tom Ford on guitar and Karma Kid was on one, I think we wrote something like 3 tunes in one day – sometimes it just comes easy like that!”
