We really wanted to not like this song. Sure Chase & Status have worked with rappers in the past, but as fans of the d&b/dubstep side of Chase & Status, upon noticing that their track “Machine Gun” was featuring Pusha T, there was a bit of hesitation. But, whoah!! There is no denying that this song is a complete banger. While some would call this trap, we hear more of the grime influence in the tune. Plus Pusha T does go in, especially with the line “All gold everything/no Trinidad…King Tut”. You can preview “Machine Gun” below which is out in stores 7th October.
