London/Berlin outfit BLOKE have released their new EP Living Without Expectations on Tonzonen Records/Cargo Records.

Comprised of five tracks, the EP consists of dark post-punk, noise rock, and even Krautrock. Delivering a sonic beat down, each song is like a psychedelic collage of sound that would be prominent within any underground venue. There is a level of angst and urgency within the music, as well as more dreamy and atmospheric encompassed production i.e. ‘Tomorrow’. “The project primarily revolves around my personal experiences in creating music and art, and contemplates the struggle of being human in the 21st century. Ultimately, it represents a journey of self-discovery and artistic growth, allowing me to express my thoughts and emotions more freely.
