Capturing the spirit of the vast Berlin electronic scene as well as processing emotions that came with the ending of a relationship, German artist Aparde has released his second album ‘Hands Rest’ on Ki Records. With a production marriage of digital and analogue, the LP was recorded in a year, resulting in a gorgeous soundscape that showcases a range of musical moods. With the record adding up to eight songs in total, Aparde manages to give the listener a window of feelings while never abandoning his club heritage.
Touching on the LP, Aparde said:
“I think that I always process circumstances unconsciously in my music and that my way of thinking is full of internal conflicts. The process was very diffused in terms of time, because over the past year my life circumstances have been very complicated and often frustrating, and I had to motivate myself again and again.”
