In a nutshell, grime emcee Stormzy records a track paying homage to Wiley with his tune ‘Wiley Flow’. The ‘Godfather of grime’ himself, Wiley, later then goes on a rant on Twitter expressing his disappointment with Stormzy making pop music with people like Ed Sheeran. Words are exchanged via Twitter and before you know it, you have both rappers recording diss tracks. Wiley sent for Stormzy with the song ‘Eediyat Skengman’. Stormzy then unleashed his response with not only a track but a video titled ‘Disappointed’. Considering that both Wiley and Stormzy are top tier emcees, each record makes for a good battle, even if the origins of it is a little silly. Check out both songs below.
