Their is nothing like the sound of garage and punk, especially when it’s done right. Whilst the immediate expectation of the styles seem to always nod towards New York or London, Stockholm’s Lion’s Den are proving that they can deliver an authentic sound along with the best of them. With the band scheduled to release their new album on August 31st, they have shared a track taken from the record entitled ‘Scars’. Stripped down with an organic stewing of punk classicism, Lion’s Den have managed to not only fully capture the sound of the genre’s golden era, but have brought it to the present without the simple sake of nostalgia.
