London band Scrounge have released their new EP entitled Ideal. The record comes at the heels of the band’s latest single ‘Badoom’. Comprised of four songs, the EP is a moody journey through hard-packing post-punk led by the capturing vocals of singer Lucy Alexander. Touching on topics ranging from the repetitiveness of life to simply finding the freedom of gaining peace of mind, the duo’s perfect balance of vivid lyricism with well-crafted and impacting production makes the EP not only a victory for the genres of post-punk and punk but an overall musical treasure that stands the test of time.
