Say Lou Lou Release Their Gorgeous LP ‘Immortelle’

Swedish/Australian siblings Say Lou Lou have released their new album ‘Immortelle’. The record follows their 2015 debut LP ‘Lucid Dreaming’.

Taking their music to climactic heights, the masterful album finds the twins incorporating more of a moody and cinematic sound stirred with experimental pop, trip-hop and more. It wouldn’t be a far stretch to think of Portishead or even Serge Gainsbourg in terms of sonics, but Say Lou Lou have definitely created a vibrant audible painting that flawlessly transitions from track to track. With only seven songs total on the LP, something that seems to be trending in the recording industry, it’s the quality over quantity factor that makes ‘Immortelle’ a seamless work, playing out like a soundtrack to a classic film, stylishly delivered with sheer class. Definitely one of the surprise highlights of 2018, it is also in strong standing as one of the best albums of the year.
