Liverpool outfit San Lorenz (formerly known as SPQR) have announced the release of their debut album titled A Death At Sea.

Along with the news, San Lorenz have also shared their latest single ‘Wickerman’. Whilst the instrumentation is quite haunting, the production is big and full-on. This track takes a darker and approach than their previous singles, yet it hits with total impact and force. A brilliant release from San Lorenz, we can’t wait for the album.

Regarding the track San Lorenz singer Peter Harrison said:

“‘Wickerman’ was the most collaborative I’ve been when writing a song, and it really illuminated to me the merits of having [guitarist] Con’s ideas and production skills included in the writing process. I love the wry uncomfortable feel of the song. The drums and bass are ‘unsettling’ in the verses, but harmonious in the chorus.”
