It’s almost unfair to only credit Roots Manuva as the emcee who help to establish global recognition of UK Hip-Hop. Not only has he surpassed titles of specific genres, his creative contribution to music in itself is immense. Releasing his ninth album Bleeds back in October of 2015, Roots Manuva now unveils the video for one of the highlight songs on the LP, ‘Crying’. Directed by Helmi, people run and hide with fear as they spot Roots taking a simple stroll from a council estate to the market and back. The video is actually quite hilarious, especially considering that one kid even hides in a trash bin. You have to love Roots Manuva! Check it out.
