In memory of composer, percussionist, Salsoul Orchestra founder and father of the Philly sound, Vincent Montana Jr., who sadly passed away on April 13th, 2013, Dimitri From Paris has uploaded an unreleased remix instrumental of Ron Hall & The Muthafunkaz Ft. Marc Evans’ “The Way You Love Me”. DFP worked with the legendary composer on the track which was originally released in 2006 on Defected Records. Vincent Montana Jr.’s credits include production for Astrud Gilberto, Loleatta Holloway, Carol Williams and Fat Larry’s Band just to name a few. He has played on records by Wilson Pickett, The O’Jays, B.B. King, The Delfonics, Grace Jones, Eddie Kendricks and the list continues. His legacy will forever live on and this remix is a perfect example of master at work.
