We were quite amazed when the announcement arrived that Kelis was releasing an album via Ninja Tune Records. However, it really shouldn’t have been such a shock considering that over the past couple of years she had moved into a direction of dance and electronic fueled music, collaborating with producers such as David Guetta, Diplo, Boys Noize and more. Her sixth album “Food” was produced by Dave Sitek of TV on the Radio fame. The first single “Jerk Ribs”, was released on Jan. 28th. Now Ninja Tune unveils the remixes to the track by none other than Mount Kimbie and Ben Pearce, which you can stream below.
