Known as the front woman of the band AXLS, Victoria Owsnett makes her solo debut with the single ‘Thrones’. Driving down the lane of pop whilst still implanting synth roots, the song is a look into the window of one who was always considered unpopular and their perspective. There is also an ultimate sense of empowerment throughout the tune upon the the eventual understanding that no one is truly better than another. Owsnett sings of ownership of self under the palette of thunderous, echoing drums and sharp, ethereal synth stabs. Written by Victoria Owsnett along with Adam Roberts and mixed by Kyle Martin, ‘Thrones’ is a brilliant solo release by the talented artist. We have a premiere below.
