Bio: Producer Ravage Beats 2012, born in Lynwood, CA (north of Compton, east of Watts), comes from a long line of New Orleans Jazz and Bebop musicians and dancers. After venturing off to college, he began making beats in 1995 using a borrowed Tascam 4-track machine from his school’s Theater Arts Department. Upon returning to L.A. in 1996, he began honing his skills at Kaos Network’s “Project Blowed” night and various venues around Los Angeles. Around the same time Ravage Beats 2012 began experimenting and learning the guitar and keyboard, thus crafting a sound that included a mixture of Jazz, Hip-Hop, Electronic and more.

Currently residing in Pasadena, CA, Ravage Beats 2012 released his first full length album titled “Sunshine Inna Bag” in 2009 and the “Timeless Earth” album in 2010. He is also part of the S.W.A.R.M. Councilman collective, The Neckbreakers, Ill Literature and The Mic Saberz, not to mention part of the Beat Cypher Collective organization in Leimert Park.
