What you have to love about Liverpool artist Liam Brown better known as Pizzagirl is his uncanny quirkiness and approach to music which is kind of an ‘I’m just doing my thing’ bedroom ethic. With his second EP season 2 landing on November 30th, Brown gets a bit emotional on us with his latest track ‘blossom at my feet, flower’. Giving us a lo-fi synth-pop ballad about wanting to be someone’s prom king, even if it was to never happen, you still would have to give the man credit for pouring out his soul.
Regarding the song, Pizzagirl said:
“We’re coming up to the emotional single finale in the season 2 boxset journey! So sprinkle some rose buds on your thrift store sofa, turn on your cable TV set and download the saddest straight to dvd re-run that never made it to air ‘blossom at my feet, flower’.”
