Outkast, The White Stripes Inducted Into 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Atlanta Hip-Hop legends Outkast have been inducted into the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The institution acknowledged not only the duo’s influence on the genre, but also the continual innovation of sounds that they have created, breaking sonic barriers for decades. Inducted by Atlanta native Donald Glover, in parts of his speech Outkast’s Andre 3000 stated his love for the artistry of Jack White before breaking down into tears when discussing how great things can happen in small spaces.

Along with Outkast, The White Stripes were also inducted into this years Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Whilst drummer Meg White was absent from the celebration, Jack White accepted the induction of behalf of both. The band was inducted by fellow Michigan icon Iggy Pop, who himself along with his band The Stooges, were inducted back in 2010.

Other inductees in the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame included Chubby Checker, Cyndi Lauper, Bad Company, Soundgarden, and Joe Cocker.
