On the 25th of October the last regular edition of Oi! will take place in the Paradiso. After nine years of organising progressive dubstep- and grime party’s Oi founder Gomes will now concentrate on releasing music on its own label Oi! Recordings. Nine years ago Oi! Pioneered by bringing new music styles Grime and later Dubstep to the Netherlands. Now Dubstep has made it to the mainstream its time for the next step: releasing new quality music of established and upcoming names in the field of bass music. The first signed artists are Jakes, Bukez Finezt, D-Double-E, Badklaat en Kutz. Beside own releases, Oi! Will still organise hostings in clubs and festivals with the Oi! Recordings artists across the Netherlands.
The first Oi! in the main hall of Paradiso years ago was with legend Mala, and for this very special final edition Oi! invites Digital Mystikz (Mala & Coki) to make this again an unforgettable night. Another DJ who has always been closely involved with Oi! Is DJ N-type he will do a special set on this edition. Bukez Finzet, is one of the new boys on the Oi! Recordings label but already released some big tunes this year he will bring the new fresh sounds on this evening. Of course, Oi! Father Gomes and his MC Drew will bring a very special set with highlights of 9 years of Oi! DJs Brutuzz & Vader (uk) who have been regular guests will warm up this unforgettable evening last and final Oi! Edition.
