New Year’s Eve 2012. Over 20 DJs and live acts on four floors! Besides our already well-known spaces (Globus, Trsor, +4Bar), we’re opening a new floor called SHIFT: a snow-white, tiled room in a building wing of the former power station that has remained unused. In Globus Octave One is back in our hallowed halls, a duo whose live set features a blisteringly unique spectrum of pop numbers and flaringly crude techno tracks. Exactly what is needed for this very special night! Tumultuous DJ seets will be supplied by top artists DJ Deep, marcelus, Ray Okpara, Derek Plaslaiko and Handmade – all representative of different styles of contemporary house music and all outstanding DJs who have gathered strong attention in the last year. The last slot in the daytime hours will find again this year our residents Djoker Daan and Daffy on the decks. On the Tresor Floor we’ve also got a whole-hearted Tresor Booking “Best of 2012” as well. Dustin Zahn, Pär Grindvik, Alex Bau and special guest legendary CLR (Chris Liebing) label artist Monoloc will all make sure to deliver terrific memories of this night. A special thanks goes out to club residents Krenzlin and 88UW for their terrific artistic efforts over the year. At the opening party of SHIFT South American artist Aérea Negrot’s performance is spotlighted. The performance singer from Venezuela comes from a family of dancers and was influenced by dance and opera already at a very young age. Aérea Negrot creates a collage of classical music threaded through a minimal techno sound, resulting in a very distinctive melange – a kind of techno opera… Also featured will be Mr.Ties, Yannick Robyns, Attila and the entire array hosted by VJ Ftoy Rboy.
