This August will see a landmark event in the east London music scene as the mighty Norman Jay brings the Good Times to east London for the very first time.
Unquestionably one of the greatest DJs to have emerged from the UK, Norman was pivotal in the birth of UK clubbing as we know it, cultivating the country’s rare groove and nascent house scenes and bringing dance music to the masses.
Now, unbelievably for the first time, this coming 29th August, Norman will be moving across town for one night only to show the east side of town just how the Good Times are done.
Taking over strikingly beautiful church building, St Johns at Hackney, between 4pm-11pm, champion selector Norman, will be throwing down the summer grooves, creating his own cathedral of hip-shaking sound, delivering the perfect warm up to carnival in East London.
