Throughout her career Nadine Shah has never been pigeonholed by genre, incorporating everything from post-punk to indie folk in her sound.

It’s been close to three years since the release of Shah’s third album ‘Holiday Destination’ but earlier this year she returned with the track ‘Ladies For Babies’, the first single taken from her upcoming LP Kitchen Sink, out June 26th. She has now unveiled the second single called ‘Club Cougar’. Musically the song is inspired by Fela Kuti style Afro-beat with the content touching on the double standards of the name calling of older women dating younger men but not the reverse.
