Myles Smith’s ‘River’ is an Epic Work

Luton-born singer and musician Myles Smith has garnished an immense following over the past year. With music that is heartfelt and personable, his recordings are honest, beautiful, and grand in sound, blending pop, folk, and more into one glorious stir.

Freshly signed to RCA Records, Myles Smith returns with his latest single ‘River’. Like his previous tracks, the song is gripping, with the production being epic in sound. The content of the tune deals with the acceptance of self, and the overcoming of emotional difficulties that is often times an extremely long journey and heavy task at hand. There is anthemic feel to ‘River’ that sonically helps to foster that sense of hope for anyone struggling with similar battles. Myles Smith yet again’s delivers another masterful track.

Regarding the single, Myles Smith stated:

“For me, River is a song about a journey of understanding your own emotions and reaching the point of being comfortable with them when it’s not so pretty. It took me many years to understand mine. Through the help of friends, family and loved ones (and therapy) I was able to understand myself a bit better.

I don’t chase the most coherent and well-put-together songs. It’s chasing the feeling. If you’re in the room and you look at the person you wrote or produced the song with and you just feel it, you know you’ve done a good job. It doesn’t always need to be the most perfect thing ever.”
