For those who are too young to have experienced VHS tapes, Moby’s new video ‘Almost Loved’ is a wild, apocalyptic ride of weirdness presented through the medium. Just a forewarning, there are continuous flashing images of the city of Los Angeles, sun patterns and a guy who is wearing a demon-like mask whilst shirtless. It’s kind of like experiencing a bad trip packed with subliminal imagery, but only with the music of one of your best moments in a rave.

On his Facebook page Moby wrote:

“I wanted the ‘Almost Loved’ video to feel like something that a soviet filmmaker would’ve made after a trip to los angeles in 1979.”
