With everyone practically locked down in their homes, London-based artist Max Rad has unveiled a new EP titled Songs From Isolation. Recorded whilst in isolation, the 6-track project is made up of mostly instrumental cuts spanning the genres of dance, ambient, Hip-Hop and electronica. All proceeds from sales will be donated to the NHS.
Touching on the EP, Max Rad stated:
“It feels like a very strange time to be living in, there is so much anxiety and fear going around – I wanted to channel that in to making music. Most of the tracks I have put together since the outbreak of COVID-19, apart from the opening track ‘Shut Down’ which I had lying around since June last year, it just seemed to fit so well with what has been going on in the world right now that I had to finish it.”
