Leeds band Magick Mountain follow-up their previous singles ‘King Cobra’ and ‘Infinity X2’ with a new track dubbed ‘The Creeper’, all taken from the group’s forthcoming debut LP Weird Feelings. Heavy drilling with a sonic combination of psychedelic rock, garage and even bits of sludge, the content of ‘The Creeper’ delves into that semi-awake, semi-sleep state that at times becomes hard to tell what’s real and what’s not. Indeed this is psych-rock in all of its glory.
Weird Feelings is out Oct 23rd.
Touching on the song, Magick Mountain mentioned:
“The Creeper tells a story about that space in-between being awake and asleep, between dreams and reality, between nightmares and your own brain. With this track we wanted to write a slower, more repetitive track, so the listener feels like they are moving through their own fuzzy sleep cycles. Watch out for The Creeper, he’ll entice you back into that in-between place that’s hard to escape…”
