Capturing the spirit of the UK post-punk period is South London vocalist Trudie Dawn Smith with her forthcoming single “No Pop”. Produced by Tom Skinner, the song is a perfect marriage of Smith’s beautiful, soulful vocals atop a thumping dub bassline and echoing snares, as she sings about the ending of a relationship with no coming back. “No Pop” is out March 10th on the STAC label.
