Last year Leeds band Loux dropped their melodic pop cut ‘Meet Me Halfway’. They now make their return with their latest single ‘Cool’. Fusing a sexy 70s disco sound with shimmering present day pop, the tune addresses an awareness of a relationship that is ultimately not allowing frontwoman Jordan Hodson to be her true self. An effortless delivery of chic, ‘Cool’ is a highly infectious record from the trio.
Regarding the single, singer Jordan Hodson said:
“‘Cool’ was written about my boundaries within a relationship and learning to express when I’m not okay. Not being someone who pretends they drink beer and stay a size 6, but are in the gym starving themselves.”
