Gothenburg band Silent Waves step outside of the normal pop sound that bursts from the seams in Sweden with a darker, new wave-inspired single called ‘War’. Whilst the vocals may incorporate a pop aesthetic, musically the song is fired by sharp synths, haunting strings and a menacing bass line.
